In early 2023, Bob Gaglardi School of Business & Economics of the Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC was going through AACSB's Initial Accreditation Process.

The school wanted me to design a 8ftx3ft timeline banner to help engage stakeholders, faculty members and students to keep them up to date with the advancements in the process.
Initial Brief:
The first brief I received was a tabulated mockup of how they wanted the banner to be setup. The accreditation process was divided into 5 phases and also highlighted what each phase would entail.
Phase 1:
Since this was going to be a timeline, I was well aware that the banner should have a sense of direction. Building on the Initial Brief and some reference images this was the first draft presented to the school.
Phase 2:
Once the layout of the banner was reviewed and finalized I started working on the color scheme, fonts, and other graphic elements based on TRU's brand guidelines.
The Banner:
The banner was designed after multiple iterations and rounds of feedback. The colors used are the Primary and Secondary colors taken from TRU's brand guidelines, while also using some of the other graphic elements such as the hexagon pattern as seen in the top-right and bottom-left corners of the banner. The 5-point star seen on the timeline which acts a marker for the process was printed on a separate adhesive vinyl so that it could be moved around as the process advanced.
Location mockups:
Before the final hand-over of the banner to the printshop, 4 different locations around the school's campus were recognized to install the banner. In accordance to that different mockups using Photoshop were also presented to show how the banner would be installed in these locations.
